INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Performance MarketingAccount Director to join our growing team!
We are a hybrid work environment, x 2 days week onsite. Must reside in SoCal.
The Account Director, Performance Marketing, is responsible for the successful management of digital demand capture activities for Hyundai Motor America's new and certified used vehicles, across programmatic Display/IMV, Social & Search channels.
Candidate must have proven experience in - Performance Marketing, in-market and/or lower funnel in an advertising agency environment.
The role involves utilizing data to make impactful marketing recommendations, leading paid media execution, and collaborating with the site team to enhance conversion rates.
Reporting to the VP, Group Account Director (Retail), the Account Director, Performance Marketing manages a digital support team and collaborates with a cross-functional extension team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and ensuring the agency's digital solutions align with their goals.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to enhance their digital marketing efforts.
- Drive the development of comprehensive digital strategies, integrating seamlessly with clients' overall marketing plans.
- Oversee the execution of digital campaigns, including paid search, paid social, display, and video, among others.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize and enhance results.
- Manage digital project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and delivering maximum ROI for clients.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and inspire a team of digital professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of digital strategies with broader advertising initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices, incorporating relevant insights into client strategies.
- Provide thought leadership within the agency and to clients, positioning the agency as a digital marketing authority.
- Create high-impact client presentations.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on account management.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing digital strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and technologies.
- Experience with digital analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience in programmatic Display/IMV, Social & Search execution/planning and activation.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
