Required Skills and Experience
The security technician role requires high technical expertise in security systems, alarm systems, and Gate maintenance. The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with access camera systems, security technology, and alarm systems, and Gate maintenance.
- ITT experience with programming and software development is a plus.
- The ability to learn and force new software and training.
Responsibilities
The Gate Maintenance Security Technician will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including photos of work. Provide detailed reports of maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and provide quality service.
- Ensure that all systems are functioning properly at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on security systems, alarm Panels, and Access Control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise in the security and Gates systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position of Security Technician should have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Access Control systems, alarm systems, and security technology
- Familiarity with gate and security system programming and software development
- Experience with security camera systems
- Knowledge of network security
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
