Aba Therapist For Autistic Children - Paid Training

We 're hiring energetic and positive individuals to join our team to work with Autistic children ages 2-6. We are looking for people who are passionate and excited about helping kids. Previous experience is not necessary!

Our therapists are the reason behind each of our kid’s success stories. We strive to create a professional and supportive environment. Our therapists receive extensive hands-on training, and close supervision, and attend monthly workshops all within our clinic. Each child’s therapy plan utilizes highly structured, evidence-based treatment geared toward each child’s specific needs. We use the principles of behavior analysis to help children improve social, play, language, and adaptive skills, while helping to reduce challenging behaviors that may interfere with everyday functioning.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with autistic kids and learn all about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Working at Within Reach is also an excellent experience for those pursuing advanced education in psychology, behavior analysis, speech-language pathology, education, and social work.

Requirements:

• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
• Pass a background check.
• Maintain a positive attitude while teaching children life skills that sometimes get messy.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
