Job Title: Receptionist: Entry-level position

Job Summary: As a Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our center. Your primary responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to various departments as needed. You will ensure a positive experience for all guests and maintain a professional and organized front desk area.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly.
• Provide accurate information in response to inquiries and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
• Manage the reception area, including keeping it tidy and organized.
• Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and assisting with creating session materials.
• Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Able to work Monday-Friday afternoons.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
• Understanding of autism spectrum disorder or familiarity with children with autism preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using computer software, including electronic scheduling systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Sensitivity, empathy, and patience when interacting with clients and families.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
