Introductory Period
From date of hire, there is a one hundred eighty-day (180) introductory period for all new hires. Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs. During these 180 days, Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group will evaluate your performance to determine any areas of improvements, additional training or if employment dismissal is necessary.
- Be in proper dress (wear nametag, etc.) and a professional appearance at all times.
- Be on time all the time. Your attendance is essential. Follow all CALL IN procedures if you will be absent.
- Offers suggestion/recommendations/answers questions of menu items, takes orders, delivers food provide excellent dining experience for guest.
- Provides superior product quality and customer service. Responds to patron requests and problems.
- Interacts with customers to ensure they obtain a superior dining experience.
- Ensures proper food quality, appearance, and ensures that the work area is kept clean.
- Follows and has in-depth knowledge of proper food handling procedures and regulations.
- Keeps a positive professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors and guests at all times.
- For Johnny Rockets stores - participate in mandatory and periodic team member dancing for our guests.
- Notify Supervisor regarding levels of supplies, inventory and materials as needed.
- Acts in accordance with company policies, restaurant specifications and food/beverage regulations.
- Must have English comprehension skills for purposes of safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service.
- Reports to Restaurant Supervisor.

- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read (see) for extended periods of time (8 hours+).
- Must be able to regularly and safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and materials weighing 25 lbs. or more
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment.
- Must be able to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.
