ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students,equipment, materials, and facilities.Maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy,and administrative regulation.Assists the administration in implementing all policies and/or rules governingstudent life and conduct, and for the classroom, develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and appropriate manner.Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as needed.Supervises in the halls and cafeteria as scheduled by the administrator.Reports incidents of suspected child abuse to Building Principal and Division of Family Services.Obeys all rules and policies established by the Board of Education andAdministration.Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrator during the contracted school day.COMMUNITY/PUBLIC RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:Makes provisions for being available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms.Serves as a class or club sponsor as agreed.Works to promote a positive school-community relationship with the partnering of parents, students, teachers, administration, school board, business, law enforcement, etc. to promote the best learning environment for a child in the district.
