Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver effective and engaging lesson plans
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated learning experience
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement lesson plans in line with curriculum standards
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies and resources to engage students
- Implement effective classroom management techniques
- Evaluate student learning through formal and informal assessments
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Valid teaching license in Minnesota
- Experience teaching in an urban public or charter school setting
- Minimum of two years' experience with a proven track record of success in the classroom
- Commitment to professional and personal growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high expectations
