The Video Computer Vision team in Video Engineering is working on exciting technologies for future Apple products. We're looking for a Computer Vision algorithm engineer to join the team that ships gaze tracking feature for AppleVision Pro and the team is continuing to work on Apple's next generation products. Our work involves full-stack of Apple products including hardware definition, algorithm development in both 3D Computer Vision and deep learning methods, and on-device performance optimization. We are looking for an outstanding algorithm engineer with broad skills to join us to take part in our high-impact projects.
Key Qualifications
Highly skilled in C++ and solid experience in scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
Extensive knowledge and applied experience in 3D Computer Vision, multi-view geometry,SfM/SLAM
Desirable are skills in: camera calibration, linear algebra, numerical optimization, statistical estimation theory and data analysis
Knowledge and experience in optical inspection, calibration or measurement is a plus
Knowledge and experience in failure analysis methodologies such as FMEA is a plus
Proactive, analytical thinking, excellent problem solving and communication skills

Apple's Video Computer Vision team is looking for a Computer Vision algorithm engineer that can work on several different aspects of Computer Vision. Including: Performing the modeling, calibration, analysis and simulation of optical imaging systems, designing and prototyping bench-top optical imaging and metrology systems with cross-functional teams, designing algorithms to make gaze tracking to deliver the best consumer experience. The team works on complex problems in Computer Vision that require robust, efficient, well tested, and clean solutions. Education & Experience
