The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
MUST HAVE WA STATE LICENSE/CERT:
CNA - active license
2 YEARS - Psych experience preferably mental health tech, behavioral health tech, etc.
Must be listed on your resume.
Local Rate: $36/HR (Under 50 miles)
Travel Rate: $1,751.20 PER WEEK (Over 50 Miles)
*Must be able to work any schedule requested (including all weekends) will not accommodate scheduling requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains patient confidentiality of all clients
Performs duties within scope of practice, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner
Adheres to facility/client policy, procedures and protocols at all times
Assists doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and tests being performed in a variety of patient care settings
Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions
Notifies the supervising nurse of any abnormal findings or conditions
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Prefer one year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant within the last three years
Psych / Behavioral experience is required
Graduate from Certified Nursing Assistant program with subsequent documentation as a Certified Nursing Assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Participation and completion of Maxim's Competency program when applicable
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
Computer proficiency required
Must be at least 18 years of age
