SalaryGeneral Summary:
The Quality Inspector(s) position is responsible for the verification of first piece product, in-process and final inspection.
Minimum Requirements:
· 1-2 years previous Quality Inspector’s experience or exhibit the aptitude for being trained into the position
· The ability to use basic measurement equipment, i.e. calipers, micrometers, length scales, check fixtures, and other equipment as necessary.
· The ability to read customer prints / GD&T.
· An understanding of basic mathematics and use of a calculator.
· Have the ability to communicate effectively.
Position Responsibilities:
· Verification of first piece product inspection.
· Verification of in-process product inspection.
· Verification of final product inspection.
· Measuring equipment calibration.
· Maintains cleanliness throughout the work area
· Aware and knowledgeable of Fabrication Technologies, Inc. quality policy
· Offers suggestions for continuous improvement of day-to-day operations.
· Complete quality / inspection paperwork
· Performs other duties as assigned.
