EMERGING ADVANCED PRODUCTS, LLC supplies OEMs and Tier One automotive suppliers with high quality metal stampings, weldments, and mechanical assemblies.
We are currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of:
Production Supervisor (2nd Shift / 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)
Responsible for approximately 15 manufacturing employees, and 6 support employees.
182,000 square foot manufacturing facility for body structures, stamping & assemblies, modular assemblies - FEM, seating structures & components, powertrain & fuel systems, thermal heat shields.
SUMMARY:
- Responsible for safe and timely assembly production processes, personnel, and plant organization; ensuring operators and production support staff are performing production and quality functions.
- Drive production manufacturing processes including production execution, manpower, and machine utilization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and provide work assignments daily for production, rework, packaging, sort and Safe Launch activities.
- Provide material needs and direction to production forklift driver to ensure zero down time.
- Provide assistance as needed for job change-overs.
- Provide feedback regularly to production team members to foster positive work environment and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure material requirements for next shift/day are communicated and lines are stocked accordingly.
- Responsible to meet plant determined goals, timelines and objectives.
- Evaluates all processes for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, reduce scrap, and implement lean manufacturing strategies to reduce waste at every stage of the process.
- Collaborate daily completion of end of shift scrap review/disposition with quality personnel, ensuring scrap summary report is completed and submitted to materials personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in a Production Supervisory role within the automotive industry.
- STAMPING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- PLEX Experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
