2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Location: Thermcraft Holding
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, with overtime as needed
Will start and train on 1st shift 5:30AM - 3PM, Monday - Thursday; 5:30AM - 9:30AM Friday
Thermcraft Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee critical departments specializing in fabrication. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing these production areas, ensuring efficiency, quality, and overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of production workers during the 2nd Shift, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Production Oversight: Monitor and manage the production processes to meet daily and weekly production targets. Ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any production issues that may arise during the shift, working closely with team members and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet product specifications and uphold company standards.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the production team.
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to production staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, logistics, and management, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
• Overtime Management: Be available for overtime as needed to meet production demands, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling.
Requirements
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES (KSA):

• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to creating a secure work environment.
Educational Requirements:
• Preferred BS or at least 5 years' experience in manufacturing.
• Six Sigma training and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD software.
• Lean Manufacturing training and experience.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make good decisions based on the best interests of the company.
Physical Requirements:
• Sit and stand daily.
• Lift at least 25 pounds infrequently
