Form of work2ND Shift Machine Operators and Loaders
Metal Panels Inc. Located in Kansas City, KS since 2012. We are looking for a motivated individual who has experience in operating a forklift and loading Semi trucks. These are 2nd Shift positions normal hours are 2 PM to 10 PM and we do work some OT. In this position we will also train the individuals we hire to run equipment after we have our trucks loaded nightly. No worries we will train and help you get the knowledge and skills to be successful. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Fork Lift Operating,
- Computer Skills
- Communication
- Reading work orders,
- Accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other equipment,
- Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, counting, and stacking products,
- Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent experience),
- Fork Lift Certification
- Prior experience manufacturing environment preferred,
- Machine operator experience is a plus but not needed
Candidates must be willing to work overtime Monday through Friday. We do work an occasional Saturday however we try and avoid as much as possible.
Job Type: 2nd Shift position
Pay: $19.00- $22.00 per hour starting depending on experience
Plus: Quarterly Bonus
