INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECH A RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

*Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with the equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations

*Strong mechanical and electrical skills required as well as experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and Robotics preferred.

*Experience with AutoCAD and Lean manufacturing preferred as well as blow molding experience.

*Provides Maintenance support to manufacturing assets and their supporting systems at multiple manufacturing locations

*Participates in the maintenance effort through providing technical support along with scheduling significant maintenance effort/events

*Leads manufacturing asset design, construction, commissioning, qualification / acceptance, validation, and subsequent operations

*Maintains an efficient and cost effective spare parts inventory process to minimize/mitigate equipment downtime

*Point of contact to assist and manage the calibration process

*Participates in root cause and corrective action to resolve equipment issues

*Is highly adaptive, relational, and responsive with all organizations to meet manufacturing objectives

*Provides weekly operational metrics and meets regularly with management to give reports on mechanical objectives

*Applies creative and critical thinking to resolve issues

*Possesses excellent organizational, communication skills, and the ability to effectively work concurrently on multiple tasks

*Participates as a highly self-motivated leader and team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success

*Supports overtime and extended working hours as required to meet all objectives

*Follows all EHS policies (safety awareness, PPE, chemical handling, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

*Proven skill and success in a high reliability / long life manufacturing environment or maintenance-related leadership and application

*Proficiency in managing maintenance operations via a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

*Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software

*Manufacturing process measurement and control disciplines:

  • Industrial automation
  • Electrical and Electronic control systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Industrial automation
  • Industrial controls
  • High vacuum systems
  • Electron beam welding
  • Low stress molding systems
  • Cable handling systems
  • High pressure gas and hydrostatic testing
  • Fiber splicing and testing

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

*Lean/Six Sigma experience with concepts and practices of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing

*AutoCAD, Solidworks, and database experience

*Working knowledge of MRP systems

*Black or Green belt certification
