2Nd Shift Forklift Driver

ISRI is a leading company in the automotive industry, specializing in the development and production of high-quality mobile interiors. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled 2nd Shift Forklift Driver to join our team. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient movement of materials and products throughout our facility.

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials and products.
• Perform pre-operational inspections of forklifts and complete necessary paperwork.
• Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping/receiving areas according to schedule and instructions.
• Secure loads properly and ensure safe transportation of materials.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and forklift equipment.
• Assist with inventory control by accurately recording movement of materials and products.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functionality.
• Report any maintenance or mechanical issues to supervisors immediately.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to forklift operation.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate different types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks.
• Strong knowledge of forklift safety guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work 2nd Shift.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Experience with inventory control systems is a plus.
