2nd Shift - Folder Operator Job Description
The Folder Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient and economical operation of the folder in order to meet daily production goals. The Folder Operator works in a manner consistent with rules and policies of GHP in order to produce the highest level of quality product.
Education and Experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years as Folder Operator, with good record of accuracy in folding operations and producing quality work.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Possess mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
- Understand Bindery and Folder related specifications
- Read and understand the job ticket and work order.
- Understand customer quality requirements.
- Understand and use proofs in checking cutting attributes.
- Demonstrate ability to load and feed paper.
- Inspecting fold variation.
- Running light and heavy paper weights.
