Are you interested in a fast-paced, team oriented part-time employment? Do you want to be a part of the criminal justice system? The Pennington County Sheriff's Office 24/7 Sobriety Program is looking for YOU!
The 24/7 Tech is responsible for collecting breath and/or urine samples from multiple individuals. This position requires close and courteous interaction with program clients, cash handling, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The program staff conducts testing 7 days per week during the hours of 5:30 - 8:30 am and 5:30 - 8:30 pm.
Hours and days will vary requiring the right applicant to have a flexible schedule.
Due to staffing levels, this position is currently open to Male applicants at this time.
Position Functions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administering PBT and urinalysis tests to participants
- Data Entry of test results
- Handling and recording monetary transactions
- Reporting and documenting violations
- Communicating with program stakeholders, coworkers and participants
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year money handling experience
- 1 year demonstrated experience in a multi-tasking role
- Preference for those with working experience in the criminal justice system.
