ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and managesDistrict-wide phone system, 911 system, voicemail system and intercom system; andDistrict-wide video security systems to support school safety, investigations, video storage, and equipment maintenance.Installs all new hardware, systems and software related to the scope of this position.Performs troubleshooting analysis of phone, voicemail, intercom, video, and wiring systems.Repairs or coordinates repair of all equipment related to the scope of this position.Maintains district inventory and manages inventory reconciliationAssists Network Engineer II in the configuration and ongoing support of District implemented hosted solutions.Assists Network Engineer II in the maintenance of network and computing infrastructure.Oversees software imaging and network security applications (System Center, JAMF Pro, Content filtering, Antivirus, etc.) Manages system back-up and restore protocol.Performs troubleshooting analysis of servers and associated systems.Assists site technology specialists in their efforts to support staff and students.Assists students with hardware and/or software usage.
Sets up, maintains and troubleshoots AV equipment.Deploys, updates and maintains District-owned desktops, laptops and tablets.Sets up, maintains and troubleshoots AVSupports curriculum delivery with the integration of technology. Perform e-discovery services for the purpose of investigating and fulfilling public records requests.Provides and recommends professional development to staff in usage of hardware and software in a group or one-on-one.Provide excellent customer service onsite and remotely for the purpose of restoring service promptly and to resolve problems.Additional Functions:Provides hardware installation and minor repairs.Maintains and cleans all technology equipment.Implements District software standards.Serves on committees relating to technology as requested.Maintains hardware inventory and software licensing records.Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.Researches and stays current with technology trends to best meet the District's current and futureOther duties as assigned related to purpose of QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
