Who we are
As Qurate Retail Group's newest business unit, vCommerce Ventures (vCV) is designed to accelerate our innovation in livestream commerce. Within vCV, Live Shop Ventures is building a next generation shopping platform and company that we believe can revolutionize the livestream shopping space. This standalone NY-based "start-up" enjoys the autonomy to imagine, incubate and scale a new vCommerce business model with the backing, resources, and expertise of Qurate Retail Group.
Our new app and platform, sune, is now available for download. We are still in beta, but have been highlighted by the NY Times, Fortune, WWD, among others as one of the companies to watch in defining the future of video commerce.

What you will do
We are seeking a Tech Intern to join our team and assist in the development and maintenance of our products and services. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and possess a passion for technology and software development. In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Getting caught-up on our automated test suite and automated test coverage, including reviewing existing test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Participating in software design, code reviews, and testing activities to ensure product quality and maintainability.
• Participating in research and development of new tools and technologies to improve software engineering process, tooling, or delivery.
• Assisting in software documentation and maintenance of technical specifications and architecture diagrams.
• Helping to gather and analyze market and customer data to ensure that our products meet customer needs and expectations.
• Participating in cross-functional meetings with product development, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Supporting in product development lifecycle, including assisting with feedback management, user testing, and product launch.
What you bring
• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coding skills in relevant computer programming languages (such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript).
• Good knowledge of software engineering and agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
For New York City based roles only: The hourly range for this position is $18 - $25. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and geographic location as well as business and market conditions.
