Project Outline:

In this hybrid role, the intern will be responsible for the design of a Project Management dashboard, which will be used to communicate project statuses including progress against medical objectives and key milestones. This will be achieved by gathering insights from stakeholders, which will inform the development of user persona(s), and lead to a thoughtful design that provides clarity, and is updated efficiently over time by the PMO. The intern will also contribute as a member of the Internal Communications Network (ICON), an internal group of US Medical colleagues working to foster our US Medical community culture through creative communications.

The intern will develop an understanding of program management and business operations, particularly as these functions pertain to medical affairs and the pharmaceutical industry. They will also develop an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Project Management Office staff and key business partners that they interact with. They will develop an understanding of tools for tracking and communicating operational performance.

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Currently authorized to work in the US (United States) without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 12 weeks during the summer months.
  • Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD student with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internshipwith Takeda.

The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour - $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
