Information Services & Technology (IST) drives Mary Kay. Network engineering, security, digital marketing, cloud technologies, and application development are some of our technical disciplines. As a member of our IST team, your challenge will be to deliver innovative tools and technologies to employees and the salesforce to help them be successful. The Digital Analytics Intern Will Work on The Following:
Intern will support the global Google Analytics (GA4) implementations for the Analytics team in the IT department. Key projects for internship include supporting the GA 360 to GA4 migrations, Project ONE Phase 3 (consumer Web site) Analytics technical requirements and global implementations and ongoing Analytics support.
• Intern will be tasked with sitting in requirements gathering meeting and assist the team with translating the business requirements into technical documentation in Jira, and Confluence.
• Intern will assist the team with setting up tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager; assist the team with setting up the right configurations in GA4 including, but not limited to setting up custom dimensions, custom metrics, data uploads, properties, data streams and integrations with BigQuery and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Intern will learn how to use ObservePoint tool to set up audit scans and journey scans to ensure our GA4 tags are working as expected. Additionally, intern will assist in setting up audit scans for our consent categories to ensure that our analytics tags are complying consent selections from the users. Furthermore, intern will be doing various manual validations such as regression testing, end-to-end testing as well as smoke testing to ensure tags are working as expected.
• Intern will assist with creating custom reports and dashboards in either GA4 and/or Looker studio using the data points available within GA4 to answer business questions from various stakeholders such as IT product teams, marketing analytics team as well as market level business users.

• Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must still be currently pursuing undergraduate or master's degree
• To be eligible you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (undergraduate) or part time (graduate) as defined by your university at the time of application.
• Minimum Sophomore status. Rising juniors or seniors preferred.
• Preferred Degrees: IT, Computer Science

Summer Program Details:
- The Mary Kay 2024 Summer Intern Program is a 10-week internship from June 4th- August 15th
- All our internships are paid, starting at $20/ hour
- Our internships are Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, and require you to be in the office 4-5 days per week
- Our internships are located at our Global Headquarters in Addison, TX or Manufacturing/ R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX
- Interns will receive any required equipment, such as a laptop
