Project Outline:
- Opportunity to support new pipeline and actively marketed oncology products.
- Operationalize very large dataset and enable smart narratives to dashboards based on key stakeholder requirements in functional areas or projects partnered with Global and US Oncology Commercialization teams.
- Hands-on involvement in implementing cross-dataset analytics and deploying visualizations with user-centric design through Business Intelligence application(s).
- Facilitate and document data validation between Insight & Analytics business rules and Data Management query development.
- Co-lead the development and dissemination of training material (for new initiative deployment and new user/ team onboarding)
- Innovate workflow for organizational efficiency, such as sustainably managing reporting investigation requests and periodically reviewing data operations and reliability performance

- Apply data wrangling and aggregation with SQL, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Python and other programming.
- Develop data visualization and reporting using Power BI, Tableau and equivalent business intelligence applications.
- Practice project management and change management through AGILE mindset and developing training and communication aligned to stakeholder needs, using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Atlassian Confluence and Jira and equivalent.
- Adapt to new tools and Ways of Working, such as GenAI and self-service applications, while raising continuous improvement.
- Enhance critical thinking, problem solving and stakeholder value propositions under mentors who have substantial industry experience.
- Communicate data findings and business insights to different cross-functional stakeholders, including senior Takeda management and leadership, brand, marketing, and sales teams to practice effective communication.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
- Undergraduate or Graduate student with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.
- Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship with Takeda.

The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour - $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
