These internships will be within one of our underwriting divisions and will have exposure to the full life cycle of the underwriting process. From quoting to binding to renewals, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to shadow our industry professionals and learn from the best. The interns will use their technical abilities, communication skills, and analytical mindset to tackle challenging assignments and help or world-class underwriting teams deliver results.
A successful intern will also:

- Learn about our industry, our business, and our operations through both formal presentations and informal, on the job training.
- Build relationships and network with experts, leaders, and industry veterans willing to mentor, share knowledge, and offer career advice.
- Gain valuable, foundational experiences that will both prepare you for your profession and help inform your future career decisions.
Additional details on our program:
- The program will be 11 weeks long, from 5/20/24-8/2/24.
- The program will be on a "Hybrid" schedule with some in office days and some virtual. Location(s) are flexible wherever possible.
- The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. We will also schedule a few after hour, fun events to promote networking and camaraderie, as circumstances allow.
- You will have an assigned mentor who will guide your project(s) and your experience with Skyward for the summer.
- The summer will end with presentations by the students to members of the company leadership team, as well as the other interns, to summarize their project(s) and learnings.
- Degree program in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business, or similar.
- Students must be actively enrolled and on schedule to graduate after the fall semester of 2024 or the spring semester of 2025
- Cumulative GPA must be 3.0 or higher
- Students must have access to lodging in the internship location without company assistance
- Students must be permanently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
