People Incorproated Mental Health Services is seeking an intern to join our School Based Mental Health Services Team.The purpose of the position is to provide on the job experience for those pursuing higher education in counseling psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or clinical social work. The position will have an opportunity to learn about People Incorporated services as well as receive firsthand job experience in their area of study. School BasedTherapy Interns will provide Mental Health services to a caseload of students attending the school at which they are based. They will gain experience in working with children experiencing a range of Mental Health needs and from varying socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. They will gain experience in providing individual and Family Therapy and in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation. They will also gain experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Schedule: Part-Time, 20hours a week. Hours are usually 8:00am - 4:30pm. Schedule flexibility based on program and site need.

Main Job Duties:
- Developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children and their caregivers
- Providing direct therapy services, including individual therapy and Family Therapy
- Completing intakes and Comprehensive Evaluations
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Consultation and collaboration with other providers and school teams
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Preferred experience working with children and families and working in school settings.
