What you'll do...
The Health & Wellness (H&W) Digital Transformation Team creates a frictionless experience for Walmart patients and associates by leveraging tools, data, and integrated platforms to empower patients to take charge of their health and enable our teams to have high-quality interactions with patients. We utilize these three core teams to make it easier and more convenient for people to stay healthy and "Live Better":
1. Connected Patient Engagement: provides easy to use experiences throughout a patient's health journey.
2. Connected Data & Analytics: creates a single, united view of individual patients to enable proactive, accessible, affordable, and trusted care.
3. Connected Systems: delivers systems and tools that provide an exception experience to patients.

Internship Overview: Held in-person over an 11-week period during the summer of 2024 for students in their penultimate, or junior, year of college. The paid internship will prepare associates for a career in Health & Wellness industry. As an intern, you will work on a meaningful project, network with industry experts, and develop your skills at the Fortune 1 as you explore Northwest Arkansas at our HQ!

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Digital Transformation team as an Intern. You will be responsible for supporting the connection, implementation, and optimization of key digital systems, including Epic EHR, PACS imaging system, Salesforce CRM, and other messaging platforms, as well as supporting training, workforce management, change management, and patient portal initiatives.
If you are passionate about digital transformation in healthcare and want to gain hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing key digital systems, we encourage you to apply!

- Help translate business into strategy on a given Digital Transformation Initiative.
- Develop and oversee an end-to-end program approach from strategic frame through execution.
- Work with leaders, key stakeholders, and teams across multiple functions (business, operations, product, technology) to deliver.
- Prepare, support, and execute a communication and stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Create and deliver executive level summaries and recommendations surrounding key Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Potential initiatives could include supporting any of the following:
- H&W Data Strategy, Data Governance, H&W Consumer Experience, Clinical Systems & Platforms Enablement, Vendor Program Assessment & Delivery

- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2024-August 2025
