The Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety (PPS) organization works collaboratively and strategically with colleagues across the product lifecycle to identify, evaluate, understand, and communicate the safety profile of AbbVie products to protect patients worldwide. PV Excellence is a team of PV system experts who enable and influence safety excellence around the globe. The group is responsible for affiliate operational efficiencies, defining PV quality standards, Safety Compliance, continuous improvement, and regulatory insights for safety deliverables. The team networks and connects our safety professionals around the world. Key responsibilities: The intern will support a team of PV system experts enabling and influencing safety excellence around the globe. The intern will create deliverables supporting pharmacovigilance Safety Compliance business needs. Examples include audit and inspection support, compliance metrics and data analysis, training plan reviews, and/or designing material to promote a quality mindset. Intern responsibilities:

- Connect with pharmacovigilance leaders and stakeholders to understand the business needs to complete assignments
- Compare, analyze, and evaluate information and data for decision making
- Recommend creative solutions to enhance connections across the PV community
- Prepare information for communication, knowledge sharing using various methods (e.g., presentations, written messages, video, infographics, vlog, etc.)
- Learn about pharmacovigilance and quality system management in a regulated environment.
