As a Summer Intern at CDW, you will work on high-quality projects where you will gain valuable experience while delivering work that makes a difference. We strive to provide our interns a meaningful experience and consider CDW for a full-time career post-graduation.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with business owners and project teams to assist with and improve departmental business processes and procedures.
- Decompose business problems quickly, work with the project team to determine the root cause and provide solution recommendations and alternatives.
- Translate stakeholder information into solution requirements.
- Assist in Statement of Work review process to ensure compliance with CDW standards.
- Track, inspect, manage, and report on Service Operations key performance indicators.
- Partner with team to communicate Services Engagement methodology and best practices to coworkers and partners as needed.
The 2024 Summer Internship Program will begin Tuesday, May 28th and end Friday, August 2nd.
Requirements (Preferred)
- Proven ability to proactively collaborate and build relationships, take initiative and creatively problem solve.
- Preferred Majors: Business Administration or IT Related major
What we’re looking for:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate students with a graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025 with ability to begin full-time employment in 2025 (if offered employment post-internship)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven individual who will make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively
- Team oriented and able to develop positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved
- Strong presentation skills, including ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
- Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer
- Authorization to work in the US; without sponsorship as a full-time coworker
