Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Industrial Engineer/Industrial Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Roy, UT.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Strategic Deterrent Systems Division.
Responsibilities may include:
- Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Industrial Engineer (T01) or a Industrial Engineer (T02).
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Industrial Engineer (T01):
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial Engineering.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Basic Qualifications for a Industrial Engineer (T02):
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial Engineering.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Industrial Engineer (T01) & Industrial Engineer (T02):
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Salary Range:
Associate Industrial Engineer (T01): $55,100 - $82,700
Industrial Engineer (T02): $66,600 - $99,800

Salary Range: $51,000.00 - $99,800.00Salary Range 2: $0.00 - $0.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
