The Journey Ahead Home Care Agency in Cleveland, OH is looking for HHA (Home Health Aide) or STNA to staff a case in Cleveland, OH on a PRN only basis. You would be filling in for call offs/vacations ONLY!!!! Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. We are looking for compassionate caregivers to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.
$15/HR
*We will also put employees through STNA school!!
Responsibilities
- Provide personal home care services in patients residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Report on clients condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and transferring
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as HHA
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proof of automobile insurance *Required
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate *Required
- Current First Aid training *Required
- Valid driver’s license *Required
- High school degree
- TB testing *Required
- Background check upon hire *Required
