Head Orchestra Director, including teaching two ability-based orchestras (one with a co-teacher) and managing all administrative aspects of an active orchestra program
Co-teaching band classes -General music classes may also be assigned based on schedule/candidate strengths The ideal candidate will be a string specialist who also possesses a level of comfort/experience with band classes. The DGN music program is very active within our school community
Candidates should be ready and able to facilitate concerts, community performances, travel opportunities, etc. The ideal candidate is a collaborative educator who will play an active and forward-thinking role in our music team (band, orchestra, choir, and general music) as well as our wider Fine Arts department.
