Position Summary

Support mainframe network communications environment including VTAM, TCP/IP, FTP, zOS Communication Server Components, Printing Services, and TN3270 Session Manager in 3-site, Parallel Sysplex environment.

Role Responsibilities
• Day-to-day/project support of SNA and TCP/IP configuration
• Configuration of printing services with3rd party solution (MacKinney) to clients and vendors, including use of transformers
• SSL/TLS certificate administration
• Software installation/maintenance of network related products (Netview, MacKinney, …)
• Develop, document and implement network standards, policies, procedures and security practices in accordance with business policies
• Work with z/OS Software, Hardware, Middleware, and development teams
• Weekend work, off hours support and on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications
• Related experience: 3+ years managing mainframe network environments
• Experience with IBM Communication Server product suite, including VTAM and TCP/IP internals, SNA formats and protocols Implementation, configuration and support of mainframe TCP/IP
