Position Overview

The Zero Emissions team at Navistar is an "electrifying" team that is a main part of Navistar's Foundation or Future strategic pillar.  We are creating new solutions for customers and dealers along with future business models within the Zero Emissions space. We are also supporting critical phases in the customer journey of all things electric to ensure customers have a successful adoption with electric vehicles and we are focused on enabling the entire Navistar organization and our dealers to become Zero Emissions experts over the next 3-5 years.

 

Navistar has a great opportunity for an eMobility Zero Emissions (ZE) Customer Onboarding Manager.

 

We are looking for a talented and experienced eMobility Customer Onboarding Manager who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and is passionate about electric vehicles. Taking technical engineering concepts and breaking them down for customers is key in this role.

 

This is a remote position supporting the West Coast region. 

Responsibilities

Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, facilitating installation and maintenance of company products. Works directly with customers and assists other sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs. Prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer solutions. May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.

  • Support both IC bus and International sales EV teams to identify and develop new business opportunities to maintain and grow the electric vehicle sales and solutions pipeline
  • Create and present technical information to customers during meetings
  • Assist the eMobility engineering team and develop technical solutions to meet customer business needs
  • Document competitors' activities and assess potential market moves
  • Review and influence customer specifications to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions for the development of equipment and service quotations
  • Support development of engineering and vehicle specifications, schedules, and cost estimate to facilitate smooth electric vehicle deployments
  • Collaborate with the field service organization and others to ensure an industry-leading customer experience
  • Manage all incoming eMobility inquiries and record in SalesForce
  • Record detailed notes for all customer meetings in Salesforce and provide reports to cross-functional teams
  • Travel up to 75% to customer meetings, events, and trade shows as required
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree
  • At least 6 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
