Summary of Position
The instructor is responsible for leading MapleStory Worlds’ Youth Workshop curriculum. This includes teaching, mentoring, and coaching video game development to middle school students.
We are currently working in a hybrid work model.
This is a part-time role and the duration of this role is expected to be 3 months.
Job Responsibilities
Become familiar with MSW platform
Learn MSW Youth Workshop curriculum
Teach video game development curriculum in-person to (15) middle school students
Provide reports on student attendance and progress
Collect student surveys at the close of the program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching K-12 students
- Experience in video game design and/or development
- Bilingual English/Spanish language is a plus
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Current university student or recent graduate, especially with an engineering, computer science, or games background

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)
The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $20.00 - $23.00 hourly.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
