Responsibilities
- Attend coaches' education session(s).
- Set-up, Instruct, and supervise and effective practices.
- Teach the participants the fundamentals of the sport through fun curriculum provided.
- Teach basic sports etiquette.
- Provide a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for participants.
- Supervise safe arrival and departure of children.
- Care for the equipment ensuring proper use and collection of all items after each practice.
Minimum Requirements for Position
Qualifications
- Enjoy teaching Elementary age kids.
- Fun and high energy
- Knowledge of or experience teaching any of the following: golf, t-ball, volleyball, soccer

The North Mankato Youth Sports Program follows the belief that recreational sports exist for kids to develop a love of sports, learn the importance of cooperation and teamwork, and most importantly, to have fun! We believe this is achieved through teaching fundamentals and providing each player with an equal opportunity to learn and participate while having FUN!
The North Mankato Program is looking for enthusiastic individuals with an energetic personality to lead our area youth through curriculum based your sports programs. Programs include but are not limited to golf, volleyball, T-ball, and soccer. Coaches are expected to support and assist coordinators in offering developmentally appropriate games and practices for our youth.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
