Your New Role…

The role of the Alba Program Director is to support program and partner operations for the Alba Collaborative- on-site and in community for emergency housing, crisis intervention and stabilization, case management and mentorship, family mediation and reunification. The Director will play a primary role in coordinating and supervising the Alba Collaborative, including partner staff at Youth Progress and will ensure that youth and families, schools and the community are familiar with services and know how to access them. They will oversee program development, implementation and evaluation. They will also provide oversight of daily operations, direct and indirect supervision of staff, volunteer and intern activities at the Youth Opportunity Center and Alba House, located in East Portland. They are integral in cross-program and community partner coordination, responsible for managing risk on-site and contract compliance. The Alba Collaborative is a 24/7/365 program with sites in East Multnomah County, where the position is based.

Knowledge & Skills:

· Ability and desire to work with diverse staff and youth and to excel in a multi-cultural environment.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must

· Strong organizational and detail-orientation skills

· Strong computer skills required

· Must be willing to be CPR trained and certified

· Must be willing to be part of an on-call supervisor rotation, on call one week every few months

· Must have access to an automobile, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance on that vehicle

· Bi-lingual and bi-culturally competent preferred

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred, however will consider lived and professional experience in place of degree

· Four years of supervisory and program management experience, however will consider lived experience and overall management skills

· A minimum of three years of experience working directly with people who have experienced trauma
