The Program Coordinator assists in the implementation of an effective workforce development system that will ensure that individuals facing barriers to long-term and successful employment have the opportunity to succeed and thrive. This position will support multiple efforts to implement new and scale existing projects. Candidates for this position must have reliable transportation. The Program Coordinator Position offers many opportunities to become engaged in all facets of Partner4Work (P4W) and to work with community partners.
- Meet regularly with the staff associated with assigned contracted providers;
- Collaborate with a network of workforce development agencies to unify goals and outcomes;
- Identify lessons learned from program evaluation and formulate recommendations based on findings to improve programming;
- Create and manage instructional materials for year-round programs;
- Update/manage the contact database for year-round providers and other special projects as they occur;
- Coordinate, schedule, and draft regular e-blasts to P4W’s network of providers and partners;
- Work with the communications team to provide content for the P4W website and social media channels;
- Serve as a main connection between service providers and other P4W programs and initiatives.
- Educate and train provider staff on the policies and procedures required by P4W in accordance with their contracts;
- Serve as the liaison between providers and Partner4Work including reviewing invoices, verifying reports, and ensuring providers meet compliance requirements;
- Work closely with providers to monitor progress on contracts and ensure milestones and outcomes are met;
- Provide technical assistance to providers to strengthen their programs and enhance their ability o meet outcomes;
- Visit contractors to provide technical assistance/evaluation.
Assist in the procurement process for programming where necessary, writing RFPs, managing the review process, and communicating with proposing organizations as necessary;.
Assist in the contracting process including finalizing the scope of work, developing supporting materials, and working with the fiscal team to create final contracts.
- Motivated self-starter with excellent project management skills and strong follow up skills required;
- Ability to think strategically and execute new ideas in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to develop relationships and effectively collaborate;
- Superb communication skills including oral and written presentation;
- Ability to utilize various types of software including Google Workspace;
- Contributes to the development of a supportive and collaborative work environment;
- Represents P4W at convenings, forums and conferences to communicate the P4W strategy and program objectives.
- Project management experience required;
- Knowledge of WIOA/TANF Youth Programming is a plus;
- Strong interest in youth workforce development is a plus;
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
- Direct service experience is preferred;
- Experience with program design is a plus.
