We offer a $1,000 sign on bonus! ($500 after 3 months of successful employment and $500 after 6 months of successful employment.

What you’ll do:

The Youth Pastor will provide a spiritually nurturing environment and a welcoming atmosphere developing relationships with our residential children ages of 5-14 years old. The Youth Pastor shall provide Christian based, non-denominational teaching, support, and ministering to the children served at the VA Childhelp facility based off of doctrinal Biblical teaching and also offer support for children of other faiths and beliefs. Meets residents, families, and stakeholders at the point of their need by listening and developing partnerships with facility leaders, stakeholders, and community resources. Childhelp is seeking a passionate and dedicated pastor to spearhead our youth ministry. The Youth Pastor will work within the mission and vision of Childhelp by leading a Youth Ministry aligned with our philosophy of meeting the Spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. The Youth Pastor will lead a Biblically robust and relevant youth ministry. This position reports to the Program Director and does not have direct reports. Assists with core competencies, best practices, and quality of care. This position is a full-time position which requires a flexible schedule providing Sunday Service and other activities throughout the week, both day and evening.

Minimum requirements:

B.A. or B.S. Degree in related field preferred or qualified by specific educational training/experience in the ministry field.

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

To be considered, you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.

Have a desire to work with youth.

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Weekends required.
