SalaryThe Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson County is seeking Youth Development Professionals for our facility located in Madison, Indiana. Position Title:Youth Development Professional
Classification: Part-time / Non-Exempt
Salary: $12.00 to $14.00/hour
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, Knowledge of and the ability to learn and teach the rules of play of common games and activities. Experience working with and instructing children and youth in recreational and/or educational games and activities.
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years college credit; experience working for a nonprofit organization; experience in an afterschool setting.
Primary Functions: Primary Duties: oversee afterschool programming with children ages, 5 & up, including conducting educational, recreational, and interactive activities, serving snack, and engaging members in constructive ways. Responsible for safety, organization, program planning and preparation, record keeping, and cleaning.
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 2:00 to 6:00 throughout the school year. Summer hours will be available as well.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
