CTS Health Services is a community mental health services center that specializes in a holistic approach to health and wellness for children, parents, and adults of varying circumstances and mental challenges. We provide one-on-one behavioral interventions for our clients and their support circles to help our clients navigate through life within their community at their highest level.
We are urgently seeking passionate, authentic, and motivated individuals to provide one-on-one behavioral interventions with insured children, youth and/or adults receiving specialty mental health services in the community.
Qualifications of a caseworker
- Bilingual (Polish- or Spanish-speaking) preferred
- Human service field with less than one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling. Supervision shall be provided by a qualified professional with the population served until the individual meets one year of experience.
- Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field with less than two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling,
- One-year documented experience in the delivery of mental health treatment to children and /or adolescents.
- High School diploma (additional 5 years’ mental health experience preferred)
- This position does require a Mental Health Professional (MHP) credentialing
The caseworker is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing direct behavioral health services and supports to individual consumers based on the goals established
- Delivering services in various environments including, homes, schools, homeless shelters, etc.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions as evidenced by symptom reduction and progress towards goals
- Documenting interactions with consumers within 24 hours of service delivery in electronic health record (EHR) system (OnTarget)
- Maintaining the flexibility to respond to consumer needs and crisis situations beyond the agency's normal working hours.
**Training will be at Northside Office (Belmont Cragin).
