Position Impact and Purpose...
The Youth Case Manager Coordinator holds accountability for the ongoing operations and the success of SPARK Youth Program, which is part of the Community Action Committee of Pike County. Reporting to the Workforce & Business Development Assistant Director, the Youth Case Manager Coordinator serves to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, which includes accountability for innovative approaches to help serve youth and young adults. By setting comprehensive goals for the performance and growth of the SPARK Youth Program the Youth Case Management Coordinator leads employees and encourages maximum performance, engagement, and dedication

Functional Area: Leadership and Management

Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes and Expectations
• Proactively plans for the growth and success of the SPARK Youth Program.
• Works toward meeting all requirements and standards for the operation of the SPARK Program. Implements best practice strategies for the SPARK Youth Program. Ensures all goals set by ODJFS and the Workforce & Business Development Director are met.
• Develops and nurtures key relationships within the communities we serve seeking innovative ways to address customer needs.
• Assists SPARK Youth Program Team in managing case plans, client files, and overall client experience in a positive manner while meeting all requirements set by ODJFS.
• Ensures that the SPARK Youth Program remains site visit/audit ready at all times by encouraging and leading the team toward transparency, attention to detail and procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Works with team members to resolve conflict in a way that promotes collaboration and respect. Provides meaningful input and feedback regarding employee performance.
• Assists in the preparation of internal/external reports and other documents as required by funding sources, regulatory entities, and CAC.

• Constantly assesses to understand our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Use information to make informed decisions, actions, and plans
• Manages WIOA/TANF budgets pertaining to the SPARK Youth Program and enters all expenditures in the County Financial Information System (CFIS).
Functional Area: Outreach and Program Delivery Estimated Effort: 30%
Responsibilities, Deliverables, Outcomes and Expectations
• Initiates, develops, and nurtures ongoing, one-on-one relationships with businesses, schools, local agencies at the local/state level.
• Collaborates with Assistant Director to provide day-to-day leadership and direction of SPARK Youth Program and services, including Work Experience Program, Peer Recovery Supporter Network and Client Training Initiatives.
• Assists with referrals to programs available to meet customer needs.
• Researches, collects, and analyzes data. Use information to make sound decisions and solve problems in the best interest of CAC, Transitions Program, our employees, and the communities we serve.
• Adheres to established guidelines for entering data in CFIS and client tracking systems.
• Organizes and facilitates the SPARK Workshops twice a month.
• Completes weekly and monthly program reports as assigned.
• Assists with Workforce & Business Development Programs as needed.
• Manages SPARK Youth staff to ensure that the program runs smoothly and address issues when they arise.
• Empowers employees to fully embrace their responsibilities and deliver successful outcomes for the agency.

• Serves as part of a CAC committee and collaborates to promote program activities, service coordination, and continuous improvement measures.
• Serves as a representative of the Workforce & Business Development Program on assigned committees and outside boards and associations as deemed appropriate.
• Performs all other duties assigned by his/her supervisor
Minimum Requirements...
Education:
Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Education, or other appropriately related field.
Job-Related Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional setting, including case management and/or leadership.
Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully coaching, mentoring, and growing individuals and teams.
Must complete pre-employment drug, alcohol test, Ohio BCI/FBI background check as required
Licenses, Certifications, and Accreditations:
Valid Driver's license and must be insurable under the agency insurance.
Preferred Qualifications...
• Preference given to individuals holding a Master's degree in an appropriately related field of study.
• Preference given to individuals with at least one year of experience in an Employment & Training Setting.
Working Conditions...
Position is in a well-lighted office environment. This position requires occasional local and regional travel for the purpose of engaging with assigned programs/departments. Occasional evening and weekend travel/work is required. Work is fast paced and involves multiple, sometimes competing priorities along with the management of complex project details. Can involve moderate-to-high levels of stress.
