Youth Advocate

Lakes and Pines Community Action Council, Inc. is hiring a full time Youth Advocate. The Youth Advocate is responsible for meeting the Agency’s mission as a team member in a comprehensive approach to community building by providing services to at risk or homeless youth and conducting Street Outreach to all homeless populations. Integral to this position is continued support for the mission of the Agency and advocacy for low-income persons in addition to basic knowledge of all Lakes & Pines CAC, Inc. programs and community resources.

· High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary degree preferred or 2-4 years of experience working in a related field. Position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm.

· Starting salary range is $19.94-$20.86 per hour, depending upon qualifications.

· Thirteen (13) paid holidays which includes a floating holiday.

· Earn two hours of annual leave and two hours of sick leave for every 40 hours worked the first year.

· Up to 5% retirement contribution match after meeting enrollment requirements.
