Responsibilities: - Conduct yoga classes for individuals or groups, focusing on proper form and technique - Develop and implement yoga programs tailored to the needs and goals of participants - Provide guidance and support to participants, offering modifications and adjustments as needed - Demonstrate and teach various yoga poses and sequences - Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants - Monitor participant progress and provide feedback and encouragement - Maintain a clean and safe yoga studio or practice space Skills: - Sports coaching experience, preferably in yoga or related disciplines - Knowledge of cross-training principles, such as CrossFit or group fitness - Ability to design effective yoga programs based on individual needs and goals - Understanding of body mechanics and proper alignment in yoga poses - Experience in fitness sales, promoting yoga classes and programs to potential clients - Strong knowledge of yoga principles, techniques, and philosophy - Familiarity with other movement practices such as dance or pilates is a plus - Basic understanding of human physiology and its relation to exercise - Certification in personal training or relevant fitness certifications is preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
