Yard Worker

Cutter Marina is a leading marina dedicated to providing high-quality maintenance, repair, and storage services to the boating community. We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable boatyard laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and safety in the boatyard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Boat Hauling and Launching: Assist with hauling boats out of the water, transporting them within the boatyard, and launching them back into the water.
• Pressure Washing, Sanding, Painting: Prepare boat bottoms for painting, including pressure washing, sanding, and applying marine bottom paint.
• Mechanic Assistance: Assist mechanics with various tasks, helping to repair and maintain boats and equipment.
• Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of marina facilities, including bathrooms, to ensure a clean and hospitable environment for staff and customers.
• Trash Removal and Yard Maintenance: Keep the boatyard facilities clean and organized by removing trash, performing general yard upkeep, and ensuring a tidy working environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and follow marina safety procedures and guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in a marina or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
