SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Wear & use required personal protective equipment. Report hazardous conditions to the employer / supervisor. Report any job-related injury or illness to employer and seek treatment promptly. Stay aware of possible hazards. Maintain clean & organized work/staging areas. Perform daily inspections on equipment and report any defects or repairs needed to supervisor or maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools
• Supply, load or move materials, tools or equipment
• Package material and /or mark materials for identification
• Operate various types of machinery for the production of steel parts. Must be detail oriented, work well with others, ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Observe and follow safety procedures always meeting company policy and procedures
• Maintain an organized workstation and be efficient with materials
• Assist in areas as needed
• Locate and Identify material by size and dimension
• Must be willing to learn and be trained

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a machine/Fab shop
• Flexible to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to work 10-12 hr shifts 5 days/week plus occasional Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
