Yard Person - Cdl A Driver

We are actively seeking a Yard PersonCDL A to join our 1st shift at our Springboro, Ohio Plant.

Starting at $20.00/hr. but increases based on work experience.

Overtime starts after working 8 hours worked

Yard Personsare responsible to assist in performing duties to insure the proper and safe handling of products from the production areas to yard storage.  Also, to insure a smooth and safe flow of products from the storage areas onto trailer for shipments to jobsites. You will be assisting in items such as stripping products, yarding products and loading products on trailers and storing products out in the yard. CDL is required as you will be operating trucks to store products. 

Ideal candidates will be able to work Monday - Friday starting at 6:30 am - Finish

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• CDL Required
• One year experience in the pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete industry, preferred
• Ability to work outdoors  
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

General Duties:

• Assist in hooking up products for loading and unloading
• Stripping and yard products
• Storing products out in the yard
• Operate company equipment to move material, load & unload trucks, & other duties as assigned
• Use of hand signals to escort equipment operators for setting, lifting or maneuvering production pieces during loading/unloading process
• Operate electronic hand held scanners for verification of production pieces during storage process
• Will gather, at start of shift, shims, steel blocks, homosote, rack pins, and wood blocking used for the days production
