We are currently seeking a Yard Driver to join our team. As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers within our yard and assisting with loading and unloading as needed. This is a vital role in our operations and requires excellent driving skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Operate yard trucks and forklifts to move trailers within the yard
- Safely load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment
- Maintain accurate records of loads
Experience:
experience driving tractor-trailers
- Proficiency in operating yard trucks and other equipment
- Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures for chip trailers
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
