Summary
The purpose of this position is to operate industrial trucks and tractors that are equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, and factory. This position is geared towards motivated individuals who want to be a part of a company that always has its foot on the gas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Unload materials and parts from trucks
● Operate a combi, forklift, and overhead cranes
● Provide the production lines with large parts and materials
● Have the ability to maneuver and park the tractor trailers in the yard
● Drive and operate vehicles under 15 mph in and around the plant and loading areas on asphalt, concrete and gravel surfaces in a congested environment
● Must function and interact on a daily basis with plant personnel and comply with safety requirements
● Respond to the warehouse manager regarding the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the shop/warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage.
● Responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand inventory and positioning
● Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while driving, delivering materials and other related assignments
● Review specification documentation and information related to assignments to assure product is manufactured to customer specifications and MAC quality standards
● Perform assignment of work to contribute to material, parts and product that are being produced according to MAC Manufacturing’s quality and quantity standards while supporting a safe environment
● Perform all related duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
● Communicate issues of concern and any other pertinent information which effect the productive completion of quality product, schedule of product and safety to supervisor
● Read assembly prints or specification manuals and plan assembly or building operations
● Sweep the area in which you work at the end of the shift
● Organize and restock needed parts and materials
● Assist other employees, as needed
● Any other duties assigned

Education and/or Experience
● Valid drivers license preferred
● CDL preferred
● Previous tow motor and combi experience
● Towmotor certification preferred
● Previous history and knowledge of tractor trailer manufacturing
Physical Demands
● Ability to lift 50 pounds
● Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
● Ability to see details at close range
● Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
● Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
● Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position
● Ability to kneel, stand and walk for long periods of time
● Must be able to work out of position, push and pull materials, and work with a team or
