WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift
SALARY RANGE: $65K - 80K (based on experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
The yard and Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the company’s Eau Claire yard operations as well as maintenance of the Eau Claire office and associated site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Organizes equipment and materials to optimize local yard operations.
- Operates forklifts and other machinery to load, unload, and move materials from shelving units and trucks, in addition to various power and hand tools while performing assigned duties.
- Collaborates with the director, yard operations on Eau Claire yard updates and processes.
- Coordinates deliveries with local project teams as needed and as directed by corporate yard operations.
- Performs inspections and service on small tools that are deemed part of standard yard inventory.
- Executes order fulfillment, returns, and material logistics as directed by corporate yard operations.
- Handles and/or oversees contracted maintenance for Eau Claire office building and associated grounds.
- Completes minor facility maintenance and repairs throughout the office and yard buildings.
- Sets up and tears down community, training, and trade appreciation events held at the office or yard facility.
- Collaborates with the senior vice president, Eau Claire office to ensure facilities are maintained to company standards and are presentable for internal and external clients.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to complete work with great accuracy.
- Capable of communicating with tact and working with a variety of team members locally and with corporate yard operations.
- Experience and proficiency in operating a wide range of manual equipment.
- Strong understanding of management software and general computer proficiency is desired.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating in a team setting.
- A self-motivated, hard-working individual.
- CDL is preferred.
- Willing to obtain other certifications as required with company-provided training.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily an office and warehouse environment.
