Description:
Operate yard mules to move trailers/tankers to designated loading/unloading sites as directed.
- Moves trailer to designated loading and from Plant and Corrugated cooler site.
- Responsible for keeping the Daily Trailer logs.
- Spots and switches trailer as directed.
- Pre-Cooling Trailers before Load Out and checking Trailer temperatures and Fuel Levels.
- Cleans, washes, fuels trailers; and inspects for damages.
- Services switcher tractor by checking and replenishing liquid levels and draining air tanks.
- Supports milk receiving by backing in and pulling out tankers as directed.
- Consolidates empty case reports generated by the empty case unloader and counter, with drivers counts to verify accuracy before sending counts to accounting.
- Daily DVIR’s Each Day and Shift.
- Keep Spotter Clean.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-year CDL A driving experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Have a Class A CDL.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for food grade products.
- Ability to accurately record data.
- Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights).
