Form of workThe Yard Coordination Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the Yard Coordinators for the assigned location. This position will oversee the rental machine Return-to-Rental process, and promote superior service to customers as well as promote superior quality, safety, and service.
Job duties:
- Direct the daily activities of Yard Coordinators, including the assignment of duties to employees, assisting in scheduling break periods, work hours, and vacations
- Perform weekly inventory audits for all sales and rental assets, including sales and rental attachments (i.e. buckets, snow plows, etc)
- Maintain the yard organization and upkeep as defined by management
- Employee development
- Promote a safe work environment
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our ideal candidate:
- Basic repair and diagnostic experience with equipment is required
- Ability to positively motivate and manage employees
- Problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Cat and Allied equipment and how equipment is operated
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to drive and valid license required
